School's Out for Summer...almost!?!

School is drawing to a close and we are starting to feel anxious about it all. Kim has one more final and she can apply for the nursing program, along with Jodi. They should know within a few months after that when they could be starting the program. In the mean time, Haiden has begun his first year of T-Ball and is loving every minute of it. He has hit the ball off his coach every game. If they do not hit it when the coach pitches, then they pull out the Tee. I've seen him knock it clear over Second base off his coach. He is a natural athlete. He just graduated from preschool at the CDC this last week as well. After this summer, he will begin BIG BOY school (Kindergarten), another thing he is very excited about, as are his parents.


Makinsey is getting very excited about the arrival of her new baby (estimated to be within the month). Kim is very anxious to see that day as she has begun to feel the misery of being pregnant during the summer months (June still counts here in California). Finally, I will be seeing the ending of my long trek through school as I reach my goal of achieving my Master's Degree. Not sure when I'll go back to get my Doctorate, but that is a thought for a future endeavor. For right now, I am putting applications out all across the Nation to see where I am most needed, including the Air Force. Come October, I could be enlisting into the Air Force as an Officer in the Medical Corp. The Board members who look through the applications meet once a year in October, so I must sit and wait. That is fine, I have plenty of other things to do to get ready, like get in better shape and lose a few pounds. Oh, to be young again!!!
